The Arts and C.R.A.F.T.S. program is a fun and creative holiday program designed to support children aged 5-10 years to build confidence in social interactions through craft. Over the course of three fun-filled days, children will dive into hands-on activities like paper crafts, clay modelling, and collaborative painting projects, all while developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
How Does it Work?
In the Arts and C.R.A.F.T.S. group, each session involves children working both in small and large groups to accomplish their goals. Through these collaborative efforts, the children practise communicating with their peers and working as a team. This program provides a safe and supportive environment for the children to express themselves, share their ideas, and receive feedback from their peers. By working together to plan and create artwork, the children can develop valuable problem-solving skills and build a sense of accomplishment as they see their creative visions come to life and present them to others.
Our C.R.A.F.T.S. acronym clearly describes the main clinical learning outcomes we aim to support each child to achieve within this program:
